Description
Digital transformation leads to creative destruction, with some jobs being lost and others being created. This indicator measures employment in digital-intensive sectors as a share of total employment. It provides a measure of the share of the workforce employed in sectors that are characterised by high and medium-high digital intensity (see notes). Over time, this indicator reflects the importance of these sectors in job creation and destruction.
