Description

People need the right mix of skills to use digital technologies effectively in life and at work. This indicator measures adults scoring at the highest levels of adaptive problem solving (levels 2 to 4) as a share of all adults (16–65 year olds). It provides a measure of adults’ ability to understand and solve problems in dynamic and information-rich environments, adapt to change, integrate multiple sources of information, and identify relevant cues in order to reach effective solutions. It tests people's ability to optimise among a range of physical, social and digital resources.
