Description

Fixed broadband penetration, the number of subscriptions per 100 inhabitants to services with an advertised download speed of 256 Kbps or greater, provides a measure of the uptake of fixed broadband technology by the population. These services are provided over DSL, cable, fibre-to-the-home (FTTH), fibre-to-the-building (FTTB), satellite, terrestrial fixed wireless or other fixed-wired technologies.
