Description

Communications infrastructures underpin the use of digital technologies. Mobile broadband is a key infrastructure that enables not just connectivity but connected devices. This indicator measures the uptake of mobile broadband technology by the population, expressed as the number of subscriptions per 100 inhabitants to mobile network services offering speeds of 256 Kbps or more (such as high speed packet access (HSPA) and long-term evolution (LTE) networks).
