Description

The Internet and other digital technologies have dramatically increased the flow of information that workers manage with direct effects on perceived stress levels. The resulting information overload may decrease job satisfaction and lead to lower reported health status and burnout. This indicator measures workers experiencing job stress associated with frequent computer use at work as a share of all workers. This metric refers to those using computers more than half of the time at work and experiencing stress “Sometimes”, “Most of the time”, or “Always” while at work.
