Description

Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, it is also a keystone of a prosperous, modern economy and society in which men and women contribute fully. This indicator measures the difference between the share of men who are Internet users and the share of women. It provides a measure of the potential room for improvement in the overall level of Internet uptake by gender.
